Complete Irrevocable Submission

Complete Irrevocable Submission (CIS) is an Anglo-American term used in BDSM to describe a lifestyle relationship in which submission is structurally and permanently embedded in everyday life. In a CIS relationship, SM is not central as a game or isolated experience, but as the foundation of the relationship and power dynamics. The submissive transfers his or her autonomy to a large extent to the Dominant, often for an indefinite period of time.
