Deviant

Deviant literally means ‘deviating from the norm’. Within BDSM, the term is often used to describe someone who consciously lives or desires outside the social sexual norm. The word can be used both playfully and proudly, as a badge of honor for people who follow their own path in sexuality, identity, or experience.
