Moxa

Moxa is a dried herb, usually made from mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris), which is used to apply heat stimuli to the skin. Within BDSM, moxa is used in moxa play - a form of controlled heat or fire play in which the glowing moxa is held close to the skin to experience intense, stimulating heat without burning it.
